Wim Segers and Dapa Sport in Het Laatste Nieuws!
Those who like to be in the spotlight or want to make it to the major media can think of many activities other than motocross. Yet it is always nice to receive recognition as a sportsman or as a sponsor. In this case the honor is certainly shared because Het Laatste Nieuws also deserves praise here. After a call from the largest newspaper in the country in which Wim Segers asked if there were companies that wanted to sponsor him, Dapa Sport jumped on the bandwagon. The shirt and sticker manufacturer from Beerse supports Wim with clothing and sponsors. And Dapa manager Paul Kesselaers would like to continue this support in the future!
A nice gesture because Wim's story shows how important sport can be. The 16-year-old motocross rider is autistic, but since he started racing as a child, he has blossomed completely. Segers is also going hard in terms of sport, this year he is switching to the MX2 Beloften in VLM.
