Antonio Cairoli immediately wins in Italy!!!
Antonio Cairoli has won the first match of the Italian Open Championship in Riola. Cairoli won both the MX1 and Elite series. Harri Kullas was the strongest among the MX2 men.
In the MX1 series, Antonio Cairoli took the series victory ahead of teammate Ken De Dijcker. The Russian Evegeny Bobryshev finished third ahead of David Philippaerts and our compatriot Joel Roelants, who finished ahead of his teammate Steven Frossard.
In the MX2 series it was the Finn Harri Kullas who took the victory ahead of Christophe Charlier and Jeremy Seewer.
The Elite then (Superfinal MX1 & MX2)… Once again it was Antonio Cairoli who took the victory ahead of Ken De Dijcker and Steven Frossard. Joel Roelants finished fourth ahead of Evgeny Bobryshev. We got the first MX2 pilot in eighth place with Christophe Charlier. Two places further we got Harri Kullas who just fell into the top ten.
