24MX Honda Racing launch in Qatar!
On the eve of the first Grand Prix of the 2013 FIM Motocross World Championship, exciting news is announced today. Because from today we will no longer talk about LS Honda, but the team will be renamed 24MX Honda Racing! Through this agreement, 24MX, Europe's largest online motorsport shop, becomes title sponsor of Steven Lettani's well-known Honda MX1 team. The striking red 24MX logo will be prominently visible on the team truck, motorcycles, rider gear and team clothing. With bold and innovative actions in the field of marketing and communication, 24MX Honda Racing will also bring a breath of fresh air to the Motocross World Championship off the track.
Jens Getteman will give his CRF450R its baptism of fire in the new 24MX Honda colors this Saturday on the Losail Motocross course in Doha, Qatar. In the third GP of the season, in Valkenswaard, the Belgian MX2 champion will be joined by his Danish teammate Nikolaj Larsen. Larsen is still struggling with a shoulder injury that he sustained in the pre-season in Valence, but his recovery is going well. The 24MX Honda riders will benefit from the support of Leisure (helmets), Ufo Plastic (racing clothing), Alpinestars (Boots) and Ex Fire (cross goggles) at least be able to hit the track beautifully dressed!
Steven Lettani, team manager 24MX Honda Racing: “Motocross is about excitement, speed and fun. These are elements that we share with 24MX! We are proud to collaborate with 24MX, one of the leading online shops in the world. Whatever a new partner contributes to the budget… it is always welcome. We don't have to be silly about that. Any team manager, whether he works in Formula 1, MotoGP, the World Superbike Championship or enduro will tell you exactly the same thing. But with 24MX Honda Racing we go far beyond typical sponsorship partnerships. We are extremely happy to share our challenge in the MX1 World Championship and our passion for motocross. I would like to thank 24MX in advance for their trust. We look forward to translating their support into success on all possible fronts!”
Daniel Petersen, managing partner 24MX: “The prestigious world of motocross GPs gives us a great platform to promote 24MX as a brand. As a motocross fan myself, I am sure that this will be a wonderful experience! Not only do we strive for fast and reliable shipments, professional customer service, a wide range and guaranteed lowest prices online... 24MX also wants to be close to their customers. That is one of the main reasons for our involvement in a professional GP team. With 24MX Honda Racing we will be more part of the competition than ever. Everyone at 24MX is already a fan of Jens and Nikolaj and 'our boys'!”
