It was Joey Savatgy who took the holeshot ahead of Cole Seely and Ken Roczen. At the end of the first lap, Seely already takes the lead. Eli Tomac is in eighth place but crashes on the second lap. After three laps, Seely already has a nice lead over Roczen. Jason Anderson is third ahead of Savatgy, Davalos and Craig. After his fall, Tomac is only in eighteenth place. The top five are a bit further apart with Seely, Roczen, Andersen, Davalos and Savatgy.
In the sixth lap Tomac makes a serious mistake and ends up next to the circuit. Tomac drives back into the pits and over and out for the leader in the standings. With four laps to go, Roczen connects with Seely. In a tight right turn, Roczen makes the move and takes the lead. With Tomac out of the match, Roczen can go for the win and take a few points lead in the standings. Ken Roczen wins the match and takes over the lead in the standings. Cole Seely finishes second ahead of Jason Anderson.
Ken Roczen: I am super happy. I didn't have the best start and it was drumming in the beginning. The team is working well, I am fit and working hard. I am therefore very satisfied.
