Results of the SX2 in Dortmund
As you could already read on our website, there was fierce competition in Dortmund over the past three days for the titles of Prince and King of Dortmund. In addition, titles still had to be won in both the SX1 and SX2 classes, although that was more of a formality.
But we start at the beginning and that is Friday, in the SX2 class we saw Sulivan Jaulin take the day's victory with a second and a first place, ahead of home pilot Dominique Thury (1-4) and championship leader Boris Maillard ( 5-2). The latter also needed this result to be sure of the title. In the SX2 class we saw a Belgian representative for the first time in the 2012-2013 season with Brent Vandoninck and he did far from bad on Friday with a tenth and sixth place.

On Saturday we saw home pilot Dominique Thury who went walking with the flowers. The German won the first heat and finished third in the second and that was enough to stay ahead of the newly crowned champion, Boris Maillard (4-1) and our northern neighbor Nick Kouwenberg (2-4). Brent Vandoninck impressed with his way of moving around, but with an eighth and a crash he was not rewarded.
Saturday's SX2 results are here to consult.
Sunday afternoon in Dortmund. On the last competition day of the 2012-2013 season, new champion Boris Maillard won, the young Frenchman managed to take the day's victory with a second place in the first heat and a victory in the last heat of the season. That for Sulivan Jaulin (1-2) and Dominique Thury (3-3). After three days of supercrossing it was also time to make a reckoning and see who had become the new Prince of Dortmund and due to the very consistent results, the new prince answers to the name: Sulivan Jaulin.
The people who wonder, what about Vandoninck? Brent Vandoninck did not play again on Sunday, the first rumors speak of an ankle injury, but we do not yet know anything about the severity.
