Husqvarna sees global sales increase
Husqvarna can look back on 2012 with satisfaction. The brand saw a significant increase in sales. A trend where the new TR 650- and Nude 900models help form the basis.
Husqvarna sold a total of 2012 motorcycles worldwide in 10.751. That is about 15,7% more than a year earlier when Husqvarna sold 9.286 motorcycles.
What the off-road segment (cross, enduro and supermoto). the 250/310cc models the best selling. A total of 2.758 units were sold. Then came the 449/511cc models of which 1.627 units were sold.
It is striking that Huqvarna's new road-oriented models did relatively better in 2012. A total of 1.936 Nuda 900s were sold. The new light TR 650 all-road together sold 2012 copies in the last four months of 1.321.
Op the Belgian market However, things were not going well for Husqvarna. There, the number of registered Husqvarnas ended in 2012 at 69 units. A difference of 24 copies compared to 2011 or a decrease of 25,81%.
