Goes belongs to Jack Brunell for the second time in a row
Jack Brunell has won the 21st supercross in Goes. Just like last year, he managed to win the final on Saturday. During the series on Friday, the Brit was already well on his way. He won the series and finished with as many points as Kasper Lynggaard, Kornel Nemeth came 3rd during those series.
However, the big money could be earned on Saturday, during the final of the inters class. A 16-round final determined who would go home with the €2. The final turned out to be a tight battle. Kasper Lynggaard was the fastest away and immediately fulfilled his role as top favorite. Adam Chatfield was away in second and Nick Kouwenberg in third. Defending champion Jack Brunell had a slightly worse start and finished fourth. In the second lap Adam Chatfield showed his class and took over the lead. Jack Brunell had no time to lose now and tried to connect with his compatriot as quickly as possible. Just after half the match, the defending champion is in second place, ready to attack first place. What then followed was a razor-sharp duel between the two British. Ultimately it was Jack Brunell who passed Adam Chatfield in the very last lap and thus extended his title.
Omroep Zeeland was also there to put together a nice report.
