Finally confirmation, Julien Lieber at Rockstar Suzuki in 2013
Today we received the official news that Julien Lieber will ride for Rockstar Suzuki in 2013. The 18-year-old Belgian will be the teammate of British Max Anstie. Last year Julien Lieber already showed great results on the Suzuki motorcycle. He was then allowed to fill in for the injured Petar Petrov and apparently he left a good impression. Julien will also compete in the German ADAC championship and several international competitions.
Lieber said the following: “Last year it was incredible that I was able to ride a few GPs with the team. I'm really happy that I can now ride a full season with them. It's quite an adjustment and it's nice that I can now concentrate solely on my driving. In the past, my brother and I had to arrange everything myself, from plane tickets to engine maintenance. I'm really looking forward to the new season and I hope I make a lot of progress now that I can concentrate 100% on my riding.
In addition to Lieber, Suzuki International Europe has other riders in their 2013 program. In this program the focus is on developing new talents. Like Brian Hsu, the reigning 85cc world champion will compete in the European Championship 125cc championship next year, under the guidance of Suzuki. Spanish talent Jorge Zaragoza is the European Championship MX2 pilot for the team.
