MXGP goes to Qatar
Today Youthstream, the promoter of the FIM Motocross World Championship, announced that the 2013 World Championship will start on March 1 in Qatar. The race will take place at the same location where the famous MotoGP grand prix has been held for several years. As some know, the MotoGP grand prix is ridden under artificial light and this will also be the case for the motocross grand prix. This GP in Qatar will therefore be the first under artificial light and will take place on a Saturday evening instead of on a Sunday afternoon.
