SMX Part 2: The Ball is Rolling!
A few weeks ago we gave you the scoop about the first SMX competition in Zolder. And then it became quiet, deafening even. That had everything to do with calendar rights. Stefan Peetermans: “The BMB rules contain some matters regarding organizing. We were confronted with the fact that we were not allowed to organize on the planned date. This has now been corrected and nothing stands in the way of the premiere of the SMX in Zolder on October 21. You understand that we couldn't communicate without having certainty.
Today, Wednesday, the website will www.mx2110zolder.be really go online. (sorry, couldn't find the right word for update). Today too, invitations will be sent to all possible participants with the necessary information. Of course, you can also register via the website
For those who can't wait to see what it is about, we have some nice news: tomorrow Thursday the circuit will be entered for the first time. It will be a demo, where a delegation from the FIM will be present. It is driven on electric motorbikes Quantya, KTM, Zero Motor en Bravo. We expect there Steve Ramon, Cyril Genot en Marnicq Bervoets,with a few others. The demo starts at 17.00 p.m. and there is free access to the circuit. You must have an invitation for the press conference itself.
