Tim Gajser puts Slovenia on the map
He still has to turn sixteen in September. Still sitting Tim Gajser (Silver Action KTM) on the bike for 8 years. The Slovenian, from Ptuj, the oldest town in Slovenia, is well on his way to making his mark at the European Motocross Championships. He does this in the two- AND four-stroke classes.
In Loket Tim finished second behind Mel Pocock and for Maxime Desprey. Gajser finds himself in fifth place in the standings EMX250. And then he said that he missed Russia. Perhaps Gajser will go for European gold after all. He is currently in the lead in the EMX125. In Bastogne he had to suffer his first – and only – loss of points. Gajser can secure the title after the first round in Matterley Basin. He has 77 points ahead of Klingsheim and Bonini. Despite his young age, Gajser has previously won two European titles. In 2007 he became a laureate in the 65 cc. Two years later he knocked Samuele Bernardini en Lars Van Berkel in the 85 cc. Last season Gajser finished second Simone Zecchina and for Jeremy Seewer.
Who will offer the “Pocket Rocket” a seat with the big boys? In any case, Silver Action will be happy to keep this golden boy in their ranks for the MX2 GPs.
