Suz MX about the MCLB in Middelkerke!
After several weeks of absence due to weather conditions, the organization of Dirk Hofman and the MX Roeland team had a good time this weekend. Mountains of work have been done in recent days to finally be able to hear the engine roar again!
It must be said, for a moment things didn't look so good. But the weather itself cannot withstand such an organization and yes, we got MX in Middelkerke. This organization was rewarded with a fantastic number of pilots. No fewer than 360 pilots were at the starting gate on Saturday. On Friday we could count on about 70 youth pilots who again braved their races in lesser circumstances. But the little guys were rewarded by none other than Steve Ramon who presented each youth pilot with a nice gift. Thank you Steve for this nice gesture!

Many guest riders came to Middelkerke. Which of these guest riders was going to make things difficult for our Steve 'Rocket' Seronval? The first holeshot was immediately a hit Steve Seronval. If Steve manages to break away like an arrow from a bow in the first corner, we already know that we can watch what happens behind him! Kenny Dult also took a super start here in third place. Kenny successfully defended this third place until the finish line. Yerki January also came up because it had not started very well. Janvier steadily made his way to the front. Jurgen Wybo As always, the audience enjoyed his technique. The stop mountain in the circuit was expertly stripped of its 'stop' by Woby, leaving only a mountain. Nice to see! Also Ricky Nys laid claim to the top three. Yet it was Seronval who won the 25 Bk points. Wybo and Dult came as 2 respectivelye in 3. e on, for Nys and Janvier.
Series 2 Inters
Wybo was the quick starter in the second series Torpjurn 'Torpie' van Hoe, Janvier, Nys, Dult, Jaimy De Leersneyder and Seronval. During the first passage, Seronval had already passed Dult and Jerki. The fast Honda rider then went looking for Wybo. Janvier, for his part, had set his sights on Van Hoe, De leersnyder and Dult. After three laps we saw Seronval for Wybo, Torpie and Jerki. Nys also made his way into the top five. Just past the halfway point, the seats seemed definitively occupied. And… it was once again that devilish Seronval who won the victory for Janvier and Wybo! We also saw a spectacle from Junior Decouter who followed Wybo with daring jumps on the stop mountain. Maybe we should change the name of that stop mountain and turn it into a spectacle mountain!
But that wasn't all. Team Hofman also had a Youth Final and a Super Final in store. Tim Van Driessche (Hofman rider) was the best youngster, ahead of a strong Randy Martens and Ouri Bikkens. The super final was won by Seronval, ahead of Wybo and Jerki Janvier. All results of the MCLB in Middelkerke can be found here.
And as if all this wasn't enough, the organization also put on a transvestite show for the people who stayed at the MX until Sunday. As a bonus on Sunday, a coffee with butter cake of your choice! Speaking of a successful MX race, this was certainly one, because I returned home tired but satisfied.
