Joël Roelants satisfied after Swedish GP
After a strong start with podium finishes in Valkenswaard and Sevlievo, a serious crash during the Italian GP threw a spanner in the works for Joel Roelants. The Grobbendon native would suffer the consequences of a concussion for weeks. But gradually the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasakidriver back to his old level. "In the first moto I had a good start. After that I continued to keep my own pace and ended up third. I also felt I rode strongly in the second heat. At the start I was around seventh place. I was sure that I could be on the podium again. However, mud in my rear brake decided otherwise. That would cause me to brake the motorcycle to death several times.”
