Yentel Martens takes double victory in Axel!
After Lommel last weekend, Yentel Martens (BeTeMo) continued today during the Belgian National in Axel. Yentel won both series in a very impressive way! Kawasaki colleague Kevin Wouts was second twice. Home rider Roy Gijsel (4-3) finished third in the MX1. Jurgen Wybo took the holeshot in the first race, but was unable to score any points. During this rehearsal for the ONK in Axel, the circuit was extremely tough and many riders had to go very deep physically. In MX2 Mike Kras won ahead of Mark Boot and Lars Van Berkel.
Marc De Reuver was also present. The Lanes-Kawasaki rider unfortunately had an off-day. In the first race De Reuver dropped out, in the second moto he took the holeshot, crashed and finished sixth.
