Jeremy Van Horebeek about the Italian GP
Jeremy Van Horebeek fought back his pain in Fermo to finish 4th in the second. As a result, Van Horebeek was able to take the GP podium for the first time this season. The Brabander also did well in the World Cup standings. Van Horebeek is now second behind teammate Jeffrey Herlings. You can read what the Red Bull KTM rider had to say about his Italian GP below:
Jeremy Van Horebeek, 3e in the GP of Italy (2+4) World Cup standings: 2nd with 114 points:
“I started second in both heats, and in the first moto I was halfway behind Jeffrey. We had a big lead. But five minutes before the end I crashed in the whoops and hit my head very hard. I was dazed but was still able to finish second. I wasn't feeling too good between heats, but I wanted to give the team a podium finish so I worked hard during the second heat. I led a few laps but my head hurt and I couldn't keep up my pace. I am now second in the World Cup, a place I have never had before.”
