Win for Soubeyras in Castelneau de Levis
The second GP of the MX3 World Championship was held this weekend in Castelneau de Levis, France. Kevin Wouts obtained the red plate in Valkenswaard last week, but due to team commitments he was unable to defend it in France. Some GP riders took advantage of the break after Valkenswaard and took their chance in the GP MX3.
The victory in Castelneau went to Cedric Soubeyras. Soubeyras (1-2) shared the series victories with Gregory Aranda (3-1). The LS Honda rider Jonathan Barragan (2-3) finished third on the final podium. Rui Goncalves did not get further than fifth place. Due to the absence of Wouts and also Yentel Martens, the red plate now goes to the Austrian Mathias Walkner
On the Belgian side there was only the participation of Stijn Verstrepen. He finished 23rd in the final standings.
