Villopoto strikes back in Indianapolis!
After his fifth place last week, Ryan Villopoto was super motivated to succeed again in Indianapolis. That worked, despite starting in the middle of the field, Villopoto was able to make strong progress. The reigning SX champion won ahead of Justin Brayton and Davi Millsaps stood on the podium for the second consecutive time!
In the Lites class, Ken Roczen took the lead. Blake Baggett immediately took on Roczen. After a crash by Kyle Cunningham, the race was restarted. In the revival, Suzuki rider Blake Wharton proved to be the strongest. Wharton won ahead of Darryn Durham and Justin Barcia. Roczen crashed, had a technical problem and only finished 16th.
