Kawasaki men dominate Elite in Romagné
Rain, mud and sun in Romagne for the opening of the French elite championship. But a dry ending! As expected, the MX1 was colored by the Kawa riders. Reigning French MX1 champion Xavier Boog (superfinal winner) and Gautier Paulin (series 1 winner) were the strong men in MX1. Bud Racing-Kawasaki rider Valentin Teillet was by far the best MX2 rider.
Paulin wins first series
Xavier Boog took over the lead from leader Cedric Soubeyras. Sébastien Pourcel animated things with a nice climb from 6th to 2nd place. Unfortunately, things also went wrong for Seb and he had to give chase from afar. Gautier Paulin's attack attempt is more successful. Halfway through the race he sees teammate Boog. After a nice duel, GP21 beat Boogie.

Teillet benefits maximally
Husqvarna rider Larrieu had a head start in the first moto, but Dylan Ferrandis would take the lead. Together with Teillet and Aubin, these four men set the tone. When Ferrandis crashed a few laps before the end, Teillet - who advanced to second place - was able to win the first series of the French championship. Julien Lieber finished third, Damon Graulus finished 10th.

Boog gives himself a birthday present
Fortunately the track is dry for the super final, but the low sun plays a bit of a spoilsport. In the combined super final, the MX2 riders are on the front row, followed by the MX1 riders. Despite this less favorable position, Xavier Boog still takes the holeshot ahead of Ferrandis and Richier. Paulin has to come back after a poor start, he still moves past Teillet but Boog remains out of reach. A nice gift for Xavier Boog, who turns 24 today!
Superfinal MX1/MX2: 1. Arc, 2. Paulin, 3. Teillet, 4. Richier, 5. Soubeyras, 6. Aranda, 7. Rombaut, 8. Ferrandis, 9. Adam, 10. Pourcel
