MCLB: Seronval unapproachable in Wontergem!
MC the carbarateurs, the club Topjurn Van Hoe served us one full of 1700 m long. The riders were presented with a fairly technical circuit including a waves section and numerous jumping mountains. The first rays of sunshine enticed many spectators to descend on Wontergem. With no fewer than 340 Pilots, one could call it a top organization!
Our inters started and none other than Steve Seronval - still the man to beat in the MCLB - took the holeshot ahead of Torpie, Janvier and Wybo, Junior Decouter and yes, Kenny Dult was also in the leading group again. Steve Seronval led the gang from start to finish. As a result, we mainly looked at what was happening behind 'Steve Rocket'. There too, the order was respected for a long time until Torpjurn braked to death. So Seronval in the lead ahead of Janvier, Wybo and Dult. To the amusement of the spectators, Kenny Dult fought a nice duel with Junior de Couter in both the first and second series. Torpjurn had a spectacular fall a little later, fortunately without serious damage. At the finish it was Seronval ahead of Janvier, Wybo and Dult who won for Junior DC.
Seronval old-fashioned strong!
But Junior Decouter did take the holeshot in series 2 ahead of Wybo, Seronval and Dult. Some boys fell during the first passage. Kevin Spruyt seemed to have hurt himself somewhat, but continued driving anyway. After the second passage we noted Seronval for Wybo, Janvier, Junior DC and Kenny Dult. Torpjurn van Hoe was in the middle of the suit after he had hit the ground.
After ten minutes of play, Seronval was on course for his second victory. Jurgen Wybo was second before Yerki Janvier. At that moment, Dult had finally left Junior DC behind. The first mx 2 rider was Yann Demeulemeester for David De Merlier who showed his skills in the second series and kept his position nicely in hand! Neil Deconnick still crashed. Torpie Van Hoe fought for what he was worth and returned to the top ten. The victory was again for Seronval ahead of Wybo, Janvier, Dult, Wouters, Junior DC, Yann de Meulemeester, Van Hoe and David 'Patatski' De Merlier.
Final podium: Steve Seronval, Jerki Janvier and Jurgen Wybo. In the Mx 2 the overall victory goes to Jordi Van De Wiele ahead of Yann Meulemeester, Jorne Tyygat. At the Inters B the flowers go to Kim Decock, Bram Descamps and Niki De Bruyne
