Elect-râ BK Enduro: Goblet wins in Bilstain
With more than a day's delay and with the help of Junior E3 Davy Vanderheyden, the BMB has managed to produce the results of the opening race of the Elect-Râ BK Enduro.
No landslides regarding the ranking within the Belgian enduro system there on Sunday in Bilstain. As expected, reigning Belgian champion Jean-François Goblet put everyone back on the ground. Unfortunately, his biggest rival for the title, Cédric Cremer, also fell hard.
There was certainly public interest there in Bilstain. Because nowhere else will you find so many spectacular chrono tests within walking distance of each other. We do not know whether the arrival of Cédric Melotte and Patrick Caps was also related. But the tenors of Walloon motocross in the nillies (2000s) will complete an entire Belgian Championship this year. Two big names there and that certainly can't hurt.
On the Flemish side, it was mainly Husaberg Belgium rider Wim Vanderheyden who had to uphold the VMBB honor. Bob Van Looveren and Roel Verpoorten could not get into the top 10. For both gentlemen, this competition was the first real test of their new machines.
Continued next weekend in Warnant. The results of Bilstain can be found below following link.
