Only German program for Marcus Schiffer
We will probably only see Marcus Schiffer at work in the German GP this year. The 24-year-old rider told the Swiss magazine Speedweek that he had a verbal agreement with Suzuki Germany boss Paul Rowney. But when he suddenly left the company, the verbal agreements fell through. Schiffer was no longer able to work for Thomas Ramsbacher's Suzuki Europe team.
Schiffer was given the choice between two teams by the German Suzuki importer: Silent Sport Suzuki or Suzuki Waldmann. Schiffer chose the first team to complete the ADAC MX Masters and the Open DM. Only if he finds an additional sponsor will we also see the Cologne native at work in Teutschenthal this year.
