Getteman stands out for Standing Construct Suzuki
Last Sunday the first international competition of the season was held in Valence. This competition also became the very first competition in their young history for the newly established Standing Construct Suzuki team!
The free and timed training sessions went as planned, although a heavy fall by Damon Graulus briefly led to fears for the worst. Fortunately, everything turned out not to be so bad in the end and apart from a few minor bruises, he suffered no injuries. In the first heat Nikolaj Larsen and Jens Getteman came into contact with each other, so the start was not so great. Both riders fought their way to the front, but for Nikolaj Larsen a small crash with engine damage decided the end of his moto.
Jens Getteman, on the other hand, rode a fantastic race and managed to finish the series in tenth. Damon Graulus had a satisfying 17de place his part in his very first match at the highest level. In the second heat, Larsen managed to achieve a good tenth place and unfortunately it was Getteman's turn to not achieve a good result due to a small fall. Graulus performed even better in this series and finished 15th.e, in the wheel of Glenn Coldenhoff and just ahead of Loic Larrieu. Nikolaj Larsen managed 20 in the mixed super finalth become. The Standing Construct Suzuki team looks back with satisfaction on the past weekend and looks forward to the next competition in Hawkstone Park in England.
