Dewulf wants Belgian MX2 title
Jeffrey Dewulf will be seen on the motocross circuits under its own flag in 2012. The 20-year-old West Flemish native leaves Gerrit Peters' MX Dream Team after 2 years.
Dewulf will continue to compete in the MX2012 class in 2 and will opt for a Yamaha YZ250F. This choice was made to him, among other things, by his findings during the MotorWorld MX2 comparison test where Dewulf acted as test driver. As in previous years, Dewulf's campaign is also based mainly on participation in the ONK MX2 and the BK MX2. However, the Jabbeken resident does not rule out a few rounds of the MX2 European Championship. Dewulf is already starting the new season with ambition. “I still expect that I can compete for the title in the Belgian championship” the brand new Yamaha rider told us. The West Flemish is also enthusiastic about the Yamaha. “The YZ250F suits me perfectly. Moreover, it is a reliable motorcycle very different from the KTM SX-F 250 I rode last season.” Dewulf is supported in his campaign by the Zarrense paint company North Sea Paints, Cape Coatings from Hasselt acts as a sub-sponsor.
