Cody Cooper New Zealand SX Champion!
Many old acquaintances in New Zealand. Scott Columb (ex MTM-Suzuki) won the MX2 Supercross title this weekend. Columb provided a surprise as he returned after almost 2 years of injuries! It was also a prize for Suzuki in the MX1. Cody Cooper won a total of seven of the nine heats. Only Justin McDonald (Honda) and Josh Coppins (Yamaha) managed to beat Cooper. McDonald finished second in the championship. The Kiwis start their outdoor season on February 12.
