Who else but Taddy Blazusiak!
In front of his own audience in Lodz (Poland), Taddy Blazusiak dominated the second round of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship yesterday. The British Johny Walker (KTM) finished second ahead of regular podium finisher Joakim Ljunggren. By the way, Blazusiak won the three finals. Taddy won the opening heat after a race in which he led from start to finish. Ivan Cervantes (GasGas) was battling for second place with Ljunggren, but the Spaniard made a mistake. Walker came back nicely after a poor start, passing Xavier Galindo (Husaberg), Cervantes and Ljunggren to take second. Cervantes took third place.
Due to the reverse starting situation (the last will be the first) depending on the finish in the first heat, the second heat offered an unpredictable course. For Blazusiak, who cut through butter like a knife, it made no difference. The Pole won convincingly again. After a smart race, Walker managed to outsmart the early race leader Galindo. During the third race, Taddy put on another demonstration in front of an enthusiastic audience. In fact, Blazusiak felt so much at home that he posted some of his fastest laps of the evening! Behind the indoor world champion, tenors Ljunggren, Cervantes and Walker fought for second place. Ljunggren managed to fend off Walker's attacks and finished second.
The third round of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship will take place on February 5 in the beautiful Palau San Jordi in Barcelona.
