Strong field of participants MX Valence 2012
The 2012 international season starts simultaneously in Valence, France and Mantua, Italy. The French have made the most noise so far. There is a strong starting field behind the fence in France in both MX1 and MX2.
Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha in MX1
All the Japanese manufacturers will be at the start in Valence with a strong representation, with Clément Desalle and Tanel Leok (both Rockstar Energy-Suzuki), Steven Frossard (Monster Energy-Yamaha), Xavier Boog and Gautier Paulin (Kawasaki Racing Team), Ken De Dycker and Jonathan Barragan (LS Honda Racing) travel to Valence. Furthermore, Shaun Simpson (Yamaha-Dixon), Marcus Schiffer (Suzuki Europe), Tim Potisek and Cedric Soubeyras (Honda-HDI) have also been confirmed.
Tonus, Charlier, Kullas etc. in MX2
The Swiss Arnaud Tonus (Monst Energy-Dixon-Yamaha) will try to extend his victory from last year. Home rider Christophe Charlier makes his debut for Rinaldi Yamaha. And the strong Suzuki Europe MX2 team presents a new line-up with the spectacular Harry Kullas and Petar Petrov. Bud Kawasaki comes with Valentin Teillet and Dylan Ferrandis. On the Belgian side there is Standing Construct-Suzuki with Nikolaj Larsen and Jens Gettemans. The Negaan-JM Racing KTM team with Jake Nicholls, Glenn Coldenhoff and Pascal Rauchenecker. Kemea-Reytec-Yamaha will be present with Kenny Van Dueren and Kevin Fors. In the women's race, MC Valence managed to attract both Steffi Laier and Livia Lancelot.
