Nick Triest about his ankle injury
Husqvarna factory rider Nick Trieste suddenly dropped out of training last Thursday. According to the internet rumor mill, the two-time Belgian MX2 champion was seriously injured. So it's time for text and explanation from the person involved himself.
Nick Triest: “I was one jump short. I didn't fall, but I did injure myself from the impact. One ankle became dislocated and I pulled it back into place. I broke the other ankle, but it has already been operated on. It's too early to say how long I'll be sidelined. In itself it is positive that it is a nice break and the recovery should go quickly.” Get well soon, Nick!
