Mike Alessi dominates in Stuttgart
This weekend the SX of Stuttgart was won on Friday and Saturday evening. This competition, which is one of the largest SX competitions in Europe after Bercy, can also count on the presence of several riders from across the pond every year. Matt Goerke became the overall winner last year. This year the title of 'king of Stuttgart' went to Mike Alessi. Mike, who wants to gain some SX rhythm (and raise some budget) after his switch from KTM to Suzuki, won on both Friday and Saturday. Alessi preceded Teddy Maier and Jason Thomas in the final score. In the SX2 class the victory went to Dennis Ulrich. Yentel Martens started this weekend on a 250 KTM 2-stroke but did not reach the final on both evenings. In the SX2, Nick Kouwenberg finished third in the evening classification, but on Saturday he had to settle for fourth place.
