Getteman with Standing Construct Suzuki team to MX2 World Championship
Jens Getteman will defend the colors of the Standing Construct Suzuki World MX2012 team in the MX2 World Championship in 2. The rider from Welle is switching to the GP circus after 2 seasons in the MX2 European Championship.
Getteman does this in a brand new team. The Standing Construct Suzuki World MX2 team is the brainchild of Standing Construct boss Tim Mathys. Together with childhood friend Luc Piccart, construction entrepreneur Mathys wanted to do something for young upcoming talents. Piccart, who earned his stripes as a mechanic for Ken De Dycker and Clément Desalle, will be in charge of the team's technical leadership.
In addition to Getteman, the Dane Nicolaj Larsen will also compete for the Standing Construct Suzuki World MX2 team. In the European Championship MX2, the team's colors are defended by Damon Graulus, who has been supported by Standing Construct for a number of seasons. The team can count on the support of Suzuki Europe.
