Ryan Vs. Ryan in Monster Energy Cup!
No James Stewart next Saturday in the biggest Monster Energy Cup, but top favorite Ryan Villopoto will have an important competitor with Ryan Dungey! The 2010 SX champion will make his KTM debut in Las Vegas. Whoever manages to win the three heats during this unique competition will be able to add 1 million dollars to their account! Wins in one final will earn you $100.000.
Ryan Villopoto and Ryan Dungey will be joined by many beautiful people: Kevin Windham, Justin Barcia, Broc Tickle, Marvin Musquin, Mike Alessi, Jake Weimer, Cole Seeley, Eli Tomac, Brett Metcalfe, Wil Hahn, but also the returning Ben Townley stand at the start. Ryan Dungey: “I have been testing the KTM for the past 2 weeks and I feel well prepared to take on the challenge. It is a late decision, but this is also the ideal way to see where I stand.” Even KTM team manager Roger Decoster was surprised by Dungey's commitment: “We didn't expect him to be ready to compete with the KTM so quickly. This also gives us as a team a great opportunity to try different setups for the opening round of the SX season. From Ryan's side it is a good experience to prepare his training regime this winter.”
