KTM presents lightweight enduro
KTM has released photos of a new lightweight enduro motorcycle: the Freeride.
And that name immediately reminds us of the prototypes of KTM's electric off-road motorcycles. We will have to wait a while for the electric version, but the 350cc four-stroke 'Freeride' will be launched in November during the Milan Motor Show (EICMA) suggested.
Just like 'big' brothers EXC-F en SX-F the Freeride also has fuel injection. On the other hand, the Freeride's engine will produce 'only' 24 hp. And with this, KTM emphasizes the recreational character of the motorcycle. With an empty weight of 99 kg, the Freeride is also ideal as a starter motorcycle for riders without off-road experience. Thanks to a double exhaust pipe, the Freeride is quieter than a regular enduro motorcycle and can also be used for daily use. For example, by using the WP-suspension components, the Freeride also has the typical KTM DNA and can also be used in difficult terrain.
