Sherco wants Meo!
The new Enduro-2 World Champion Antoine Meo recently hinted that it may be time to switch to another brand. Now it is increasingly looking like Meo will no longer be part of the Husqvarna factory team next year.
According to insiders from the EWC paddock Things are no longer going well between the team management Husqvarna en Antoine Meo. Meo would be this year Husqvarna TE310 largely developed together with his mechanic and would have been very sparing with information to teammates and the team itself. A break between Meo and Husqvarna therefore seems inevitable. However, the Frenchman has several options.
But the most concrete path would be that of Sherco are. It French niche brand would like to present an absolute winner next year and preferably a Frenchman too. And so Meo comes into the picture. Sherco boss Marc Teissier would pay a lot of money for the arrival of the two-time world champion. If a deal were to be reached between Sherco and Meo, the latter would more than likely return to the E1 class. That means Meo on the Sherco SE 250i would be released, a motorcycle that was significantly updated for 2012.
However, Meo would have other options. For example, there is our own team on a Japanese motorcycle and there is also the track KTM.
