No more Pastrana at the X-Games?
Broke in July Travis pastrana his ankle and foot during the X-Games when something went wrong while performing a 720° rotation. Pastrana's injuries turned out to be a major blow to his fortune. The American hoped to make his debut in the following weekend Nationwide Series, the second division of Nascar. Unfortunately, that party was canceled.
Pastrana reappeared on a race track for the first time last weekend during the Nationwide competition on Chicago land. The Red Bullathlete announced there that he wants to focus mainly on developing a career in the Nascar in the coming years. And so the chance that we will see Pastrana in action on a motorcycle becomes considerably smaller.
Pastrana was initially scheduled to play 7 games in the Nationwide Series finish in one Toyota of Pastrana-Waltrip Racing. Pastrana co-owns that team with former Nascar racer Michael Waltrip.
