Joël Roelants to CLS-Kawasaki!
We are still waiting for the official press release, but from various reliable sources we could note that the transition of Joël Roelants to the Monster Energy-Pro circuit-CLS Kawasaki team is a fact. The three-time Dutch MX2 champion had a disappointing season and wants to achieve a top result in his last year in the lightest class next season. Roelants will meet familiar people at CLS, because the Grobbendonian has previously worked with technical director Harry Nolte and Itto Smolders , who is the mechanic for Tommy Searle this year.
Roelants will be replaced by the British Jake Nicholls at the Negaan-JM Racing-KTM team. In addition to Roelants, Jordi Tixier will also leave the team, the Frenchman will move to the KTM factory team. Pascal Rauchenecker will remain with JM Racing and will be joined by Dutch promising Glenn Coldenhoff from the Jumbo-TVE-Yamaha team.
