Jordi Tixier to KTM factory team!
Jordi Tixier will be at the side of next year Jeffrey herlings en Jeremy Van Horebeek the colors of it Red Bull Teka KTMfactory team in the MX2 World Championship. It was briefly thought that KTM would abandon the principle of 3 factory riders in the MX2, but that turns out not to be the case.
Last year Tixier was crowned European 125cc champion and also became Junior World Champion. The 19-year-old Parisian took his first steps in the MX2 World Championship last season Negaan JM Racing KTM. Tixier is currently in 13th place in the World Cup standings. The Frenchman's best performance so far was an 11th place in the final standings of the Brazilian GP, thanks to two 10th place finishes in the heats.
