ISDE 2011 day 3: Belgium KO
De IS THE is half way tonight and the Finns now appear to be well on course to achieve the World Trophy to grab. Also today was Team Finland back on track again. The gap with second-placed Spain may not yet be unbridgeable, but the Finns managed to widen it again today. The big losers of the day are the British. Yesterday the Green helmets 7 moree, but after the retirement of an ex-cross rider Jordan Rose they fell to 14th place.
Dutch people constantly
Team Holland is still in sixth place. Also today was Hans Vogels the best Dutch performer, but unlike yesterday he did not get into the top 10 of the E2 class. It worked Mark Wassink in E3 then again. Wassink finished 7the. The difference with the surprisingly strong Portuguese who 5e ranking is now 7min30.
Belgium completely exhausted
Luck was not in the Belgians' favor on the third day either. E1 driver damaged quite early in the day Adrien Vandommele the crankcase of his TM. Needless to say, you won't get far with a leaking karter, so exit Vandommele. After the young Walloon Brabander gave up, his performance dropped Team Belgium to the 17e and last place. The fastest Belgian was today Jean-François Goblet. The Liège resident turned 26e in E2. Wim Vanderheyden turned 17e in E3. So three more Belgians will start tomorrow: Goblet, Vanderheyden and Pierre Schmits.
