Frossard about Loket
Also Monster EnergyYamaha Steven Frossard was not exactly enthusiastic about the track after the Czech GP. Frossard was able to maintain himself in the front ranks in the opening round (5e). A crash in the 2e heat, however, set him far back. After a catch-up race, Frossard still became 12e.
"Loket is always a bit difficult for me. In the first moto I had a good start but Desalle forced me into a corner and I lost places. It was difficult to overtake here. We hung together in one group for a long time and I tried everything to make up places, but in the end it turned out not to be possible. It wasn't fun to ride like that and it certainly wasn't a good race for me” Frossard expressed some disappointment.
“Bobryshev crashed into me at the start of the second moto. I almost crashed, but in the end I stayed straight. I quickly fought my way back to eighth place but then Cairoli landed on me after a jump and I fell. It wasn't easy having to start all over again, but in the end I rode back to twelfth place. That in itself was certainly not bad and I actually had a better feeling about that second heat. I had to give up points to Desalle, but in turn I was able to make up points to Bobryshev” concluded the Frenchman.
