MX Transfers 2012: Roczen still in the GPs?
When MX2 team of Red Bull Teka KTM the motto applies Never change a winning team. No one comes, alone Ken Roczen leaves for the States for KTM. Jeffrey herlings' contract with KTM still runs until 2013. Herlings will probably become leader of the MX2 factory team next year.
Although that is not yet certain. Ken Roczen's manager Bert Poensgen does not rule out that his protégé will still be seen in the GPs next year. “It is quite possible that Ken can earn more in the GPs than in the He loves Motocross-championship. My job is to find the best options for him” said Poensgen speedweek. Roczen would then do it just like this year AMA Supercross Lites Westchampionship combine with it World Championship MX2. Given the overwhelming public interest in Roczen during the GP of Germany in Teutschenthal the market value of the 17-year-old appears to have increased significantly. From that perspective, staying in the MX2 World Championship for a year longer seems like a good idea to cash in on that market value cannot be ruled out for Roczen.
Jeremy Van Horebeek was still unsure about his future at the beginning of May, but now it looks like we will see him at work on the factory KTM in the MX2 World Championship next year. That will be the last MX2 season for the Flemish Brabander, who will reach the age limit of 2012 years in 23.
