ISDE 2011: Belgian teams announced!
One month before the start of the International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) made the Belgian ISDE team manager Philippe Borguet, the team announced that will defend the Belgian colors in Finland. Adrien Vandommele (TM) is the only Belgian rider in the E1 class. Belgian hopes rest in the E2 class Jean-François Goblet (yamaha), Jérôme Martiny (Husqvarna) and Bob Van Looveren (Suzuki). Barely a year and a half after he made his debut in the BK Enduro, Van Looveren can represent Belgium in the highlight of global Enduro.
Wim Vanderheyden (Husaberg) and Steve Goblet (TM) are the Belgian drivers in the E3 class. For the Husaberg Belgium rider, his selection means a fourth consecutive participation in the ISDE.
In addition to the Belgian Trophy team, the Belgian Motorcyclists' Association also registered two club teams. A striking name is that of Christian Loriaux. In daily life, Loriaux is the technical director of the Ford factory team in the WRC.
The first club team Belgium 1 is composed of Jérome Bodart, Franck Lorge and Matt Coombs. Belgium 2 consists of Christian Loriaux, Pierre Schmits and Jean Flourh.
The ISDE 2011 will take place from August 8 to 13 in Kotka-Hamina, Finland.
