Last weekend the World Trial Championships started in Gefrees, Germany. No surprises with the big boys because Toni Bou's reign remained unaffected. The Spanish Repsol Montesa rider won ahead of his compatriot Albert Cabestany (Sherco) and his teammate Takahisa Fujinami.
In the Junior World Championships Maxime Warenghien achieved a nice 6th place. The Ossa rider finished equal with the Frenchman Benoît Dagnicourt. Warenghien wants to do better during the next round in France. The top 4 in the Juniors was completely Spanish. Laia Sanz's 12th place was also striking. The Catalan left no fewer than 17 men behind him.
The next round of the World Trial Championship and the Junior World Trial Championship will take place next weekend in Bréal-sous-Montfort, France. Below is an impression of the first Trial GP of 2011.
