Roczen dominates “home GP”
The driver of the moment is undoubtedly Ken Roczen. After his first SX victory last week in Las Vegas, he easily won both motos in the USGP. Despite a small crash on the warm-up lap in the first moto where he hurt his finger, Roczen was in the lead from start to finish. Jeffrey Herlings came second in both heats and Tommy Searle finished fifth and third on the final step of the podium.
Joel Roelants finished 14th in the final standings with a 9th and a 9th place.
In the post-match interview, Roczen stated that he was very satisfied with the victory in his “Home” GP. The little German is clearly already in mind
In the World Championship standings, Roczen is further ahead of Herlings. He is now 14 points ahead of Herlings and 24 ahead of Searle. Osbourne follows in fourth place, already 54 points behind.
