Radson Trophy: Fors wins again!
Kevin Fors won his second consecutive Radson Trophy match in Kester. Fors was helped in Kester by the bad luck of Jens Getteman, who seemed to be on his way to a double series victory.
Kevin Fors and Wietse Brackman were the quick starters in the first series. Getteman and Kras advanced from the background. Brackman had to take over the role at the front. Getteman, in turn, proved to be too fast for Fors. The Kemea-Reytec Yamaha rider rode to the series victory, cheered on by his many supporters. Fors came second, Kras third. Ken Vandueren beat Wietse Brackman in the battle for 4e place, Brent Van Doninck came 6e. Championship leader Boot only ran 9the in and thus lost valuable points.
In the second moto Getteman took off like an arrow from a bow. The Topsport Vlaanderen rider clearly distanced himself from the competition. Fors and Boot followed behind him. Boot had started well this time and managed to stay in the wake of the Liège native. Behind this pair were Janvier and the surprisingly strong Damon Graulus. However, Getteman disappeared from the race 2 laps from the end. To his own surprise, he rode with a foam tire. The series victory went to Fors ahead of Boot and Janvier. Graulus finished fourth. A fifth place was enough for Mike Kras to still get on the podium.
