Hans Vogel's favorite in ONK Enduro
Tomorrow the ONK Enduro starts in Enter (Wierden) in Overijssel with the Reggerit as the traditional season opener. With 28 editions of the Reggerit under its belt, the predicate “traditional” certainly applies. While the conditions last year were downright wintery with lots of snow, this year the abundant rainfall plays a leading role. Chairman Antoon Slagers of the Enterse Motor Club reported that the club was forced to shorten some sections and that the route runs more on asphalt than usual. Although this goes against the principles of the EMC, the club has no other choice given the circumstances.
Last year's winner Hans Vogels will also start as favorite in the Enduro of Enter this year. A year ago, Vogels not only took victory in the busy E2 class, but also in the scratch (unofficially). The only regular Dutch participant is also the big favorite for the title in the E2 class.
