Jelle Grade is ready for Goes
Jelle Grade will ride his first Supercross in Goes this weekend. The reigning Inters MX1 champion from VLM will ride a 250F motorcycle for this occasion. Grade was already introduced to Supercross in 2008, when he participated in the Gothenburg Supercross. Even then he was on a Yamaha YZ250F. This time, however, he will be better prepared at the start.
“I will ride the motorcycle of my BeTeMo-Yamaha teammate Jimmy Nevelsteen in Goes. Jimmy lives near me, which obviously made training on his motorcycle a bit easier. In the meantime I have completed three motorcycle training sessions on the Yamaha YZ250F. Riding that motorcycle is quite a serious adjustment. Last Friday I went to explore the circuit, so I know what to expect this weekend,” Jelle told MXMag.be. Grade will compete against experienced Supercross riders such as Maurice Klijn, Mike Kras and Jurgen Wybo on Saturday in Goes.
