Joe Gibbs Racing ready for strong 2011 season!
With superstars like Dungey, Stewart, Reed and Villopoto, you tend to underestimate the outsiders of the US SX Championship. The Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Supercross / Motocross is such a solid outsider team. Of Justin Brayton, 5th in the AMA Supercross last year and Davi Millsaps, the team is stronger than ever. Over the past two seasons, the team has already made a name for itself with an SX victory for Josh Grant during Anaheim 1 and last year Grant and Brayton took gold and silver during the X-Games Super-X race. Brayton also stood on the podium at the SX in Seattle.
Brayton would like to continue the upward trend and has already recorded good results this autumn. The 26-year-old Brayton won the Geneva SX, stood on the podium twice and won once in the Australian SX Championship.
Replacing Josh Grant, who left for American Honda Davi Millsaps (coming from Honda!) put on. The 22-year-old Millsaps has been high on the Joe Gibbs Racing MX team's wish list from the start. For the multiple amateur champion, this transfer offers the ultimate opportunity to confirm his talent. Typical of the approach of Joe Gibbs Racing, which is very successful in NASCAR, is the guidance of their drivers. That's why Millsaps also moved to North Carolina where Joe Gibbs Racing is located to train with the team's physical trainers. “I'm looking forward to having my best season ever with Joe Gibbs Racing.” Last year Millsaps finished third in the AMA Supercross where he won one race.
