Two-stroke revival in BK Enduro?
The two-stroke is not dead. Certainly not in the BK Enduro. For example, Husaberg Belgium rider Wim Vanderheyden switches from the FE 570 to a TE 300. The Hallenaar therefore remains in the E3 class. “The two-strokes still play a significant role in enduro. In the Belgian Championships, more riders are opting for a two-stroke engine. So it is only normal that Husaberg Belgium responds to this evolution. Especially now that we have a new two-stroke range,” says Vanderheyden. We will also see KTM Belgium rider Cédric Cremer on a two-stroke next year, he will opt for an EXC 250. During the second half of the season, however, Cremer would switch to an EXC-F 350. Reigning Belgian E3 champion Kevin Gauniaux would also be in 2011 continue to compete on a Gas Gas EC 300, the machine with which he won the E3 title.
