2011 World Indoor Trial Championships: permanent riders announced
In addition to the Calendar of the 2011 World Indoor Trial Championships, the FIM also announced the permanent participants for this winter championship. These eight regular riders will complete the entire indoor campaign this coming winter. At each competition they are supplemented with two wild-card drivers. Compared to last year, the British Alexz Wigg and the Frenchman Loris Gubian disappeared. They will be replaced by the British James Dabill and Jack Challoner. The latter is, by the way, the Junior World Trial Champion of 2010. After this reshuffle, the four major trials brands (Montesa, Gas Gas, Sherco and Beta) each have two regular riders in the World Indoor Trial Championship.
The permanent participants for the 2011 World Indoor Trial Championships are:
Toni Bou Spain Montesa
Adam Raga Spain GasGas
Albert Cabestany Spain Sherco
Takahashi Fujinami Japan Montesa
Jeroni Fajardo Spain Beta
James Dabill Great Britain Gas Gas
Michael Brown Great Britain Sherco
Jack Challoner Great Britain Beta
