Blue turns red: Ricci Racing-Husqvarna
With the switch from Ricci Racing, which defended the Yamaha colors for more than 10 seasons, to Husqvarna, another piece of the transfer puzzle falls into place. It had been known for some time that Husqvarna was looking for a World Cup team. Ricci Racing-Husqvarna will compete in the MX2 GPs with Alessandro Lupino and the American Michael Leib. Lupino was 14th in the World Cup this year, Leib was 19th. Perhaps a young third rider will be added for the 125cc European Championship.
