Double win for Ken Roczen in Fermo!
Ken Roczen ended his season in style with a double series victory. The young German was out of category today on the hard and slippery Fermo. Paulin (4-3) was able to benefit from Musquin's bad luck. After all, Musquin had crashed in the second moto, hurt his hand and then gave up. A driven Arnaud Tonus (5-4) took his first podium place.
Smooth series victory for Roczen
Musquin took the holeshot ahead of Ken Roczen, but Van Horebeek was also in a good position. Roczen clearly did not feel like a long duel and immediately attacked, before the end of the first round, an aggressive Roczen took care of Musquin. The French world champion had no answer for the driven German, so the tension of the first heat was reduced to a one-man show by the Suzuki Wunderkind. Van Horebeek rode a consistent race in third and also came in third.
Paulin had to sweat quite a bit in the warm weather to measure up to Arnaud Tonus. Roelants did well in the championship with sixth place. JR thus took a few points back from Osborne (eighth), his biggest rival, for fourth place in the final championship standings. Before the start of the last series, Roelants and Osborne are equal in fifth place with 381 points, the injured Jeffrey Herlings is fourth in the World Championship with 391 points.

Roczen out of category, Musquin gives up
Almost identical to the first heat, Musquin was again the fastest, but once again Roczen wasted no time! Van Horebeek also copied his cannon start, but stepped on the gas too eagerly in a slippery place that had just been sprayed. The Jerre fell spectacularly and injured himself.
In the meantime, the Teka-Suzuki with the number 94 kept in touch with Musquin. In the eighth round, Roczen confidently passed the world champion. There was no turning back for 'Marv-attack' and to make matters worse he crashed on one of the fast descents. Frossard moved up one place to second, while 19-year-old Swiss Tonus fought like a lion. Tonus eventually beat Osborne and finished third on the final podium!
Roelants came in sixth, after Osborne, and saw fourth place slip through his hands. Verbruggen turned 13de. The very young Julien Lieber turned 15de. Heeschenaar Glenn Coldenhoff took five points, he ends the World Cup season in 23rd.
