Everts and Smets are going BMX!
On Sunday, October 3, former world motocross champions Stefan Everts and Joël Smets will compete against each other once again. This time, however, not on a dirt bike, but on a BMX bike. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Desselse BMX club BMX 2000, well-known Flemish people such as Karen Meynen, Arne Daelmans, Kevin Hulsmans and Stefan Everts and Joël Smets compete against each other in a BMX competition for BVs.
Would you like to see Everts and Smets race neck and neck over the whoops one more time? Then come to the Joël Smets circuit at Brasel in Dessel on Sunday, October 3. From 14 p.m. the BVs will compete against each other, but before that the track is taken by the youngsters.
The BMX party starts on Saturday afternoon with Old School competitions. An international Junior and Elite competition, men and women, is scheduled for Saturday evening from 18 p.m.
